Police are warning people not to answer video calls from unknown numbers. A man from Hyderabad lost ₹3.41 lakhs after being blackmailed after a video call with a woman. The woman seduced him during the video call, and another person threatened to make it go viral. He extorted money several times. After his bank accounts were hacked and more money was demanded, the victim approached the police.
