What to do if idols of gods break at home?
Vastu expert Krishnadiseshu suggests that if idols of deities worshipped at home break or pictures tear, they should not be thrown away just anywhere. He says they should be immersed in flowing water. He says that offering torn pictures to a sacred fire is auspicious. He advises that whichever method is followed, it should be done respectfully with devotion. They are saying that doing this will protect spiritual values.
