Keeping the house clean is important. Every Saturday, throw away broken items and clean away cobwebs. Keeping an 'Ekakshi coconut' in the puja room increases wealth. Looking at your palms and touching them to your eyes immediately after waking up in the morning is believed to bring the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi.
