WhatsApp Introduces Safety Overview Feature to Protect users from Scams
New Delhi: Meta has introduced a new feature to protect WhatsApp users from messaging scams. This feature, called ‘Safety Overview’, automatically detects groups that are prone to scams and alerts the user. If someone who is not in the user’s contact list adds them to a WhatsApp group, the new anti-scam tool will automatically activate. After reviewing all the details, the user can decide whether to join the group or not.
