The direct messaging feature is coming back on YouTube. The company discontinued this feature, which allowed users to send videos and messages within the app, in 2019. Now it will be brought back with a new version. It is currently in the testing phase. If this feature is available, videos and messages can be sent on YouTube without the need for other apps. Along with this, an AI remix feature for shorts will also be available.
