Due to this, the prices of fruits, vegetables, wheat, rice, sugar, and medicines in both countries are skyrocketing. In particular, the prices of tomatoes in Pakistan have increased 5 times and are reaching 600 Pakistani rupees per kg. The prices of apples have also increased drastically. Business sources there said that trade has come to a standstill and the two countries are losing $1M per day.
