Greater Tirupati by December!
Andhra Pradesh: Steps are being taken towards Greater Tirupati. Yesterday, in the Municipal Council meeting, the members unanimously approved the proposal for Greater Tirupati. As the government is determined to form the Greater Tirupati Municipal Corporation by December, the Collector has sent the merger proposals to the GP secretaries. Meanwhile, 63 revenue villages under Tirupati Rural, Chandragiri, Renigunta and Yerpedu will be merged into Greater Tirupati.
