Common zoning system now in towns and cities
Andhra Pradesh: Zoning regulations are not uniform in the towns and cities of the state but are different. Due to this, problems are being faced in terms of licenses, construction permits and other issues. To prevent this, the government has recently issued GO216 introducing a common zoning policy. It explained that common zoning is being introduced as part of the ease of doing business, reducing burden, simplifying regulations, and enabling access to SASCI incentives.
