UPI explosion.. ₹94 thousand crores of payments per day
UPI payments were made on a massive scale during the festive season. National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) data revealed that an average of Rs 94,000 crore transactions were recorded daily this month. This is 13 percent more than September. This is likely to increase further as there are still more than a week left in this month. On the other hand, it is noteworthy that 85 percent of digital payments in the country are done through UPI.
