US special envoy arrives in Gaza, trying to save agreement
Israel Hamas Ceasefire: On the initiative of US President Donald Trump, there has been a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. Even after the ceasefire, there have been firings and attacks in Gaza in which many people have lost their lives. Recently Israeli soldiers were targeted, after which Israel banned humanitarian aid in Gaza. However, Israel later said that humanitarian aid would continue to reach Gaza.
America became active
The situation in Gaza makes it clear that the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas can end at any time. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has also discussed security chiefs and directed the army to take strong action against any ceasefire violations. Now America also seems to be active amidst the situation regarding ceasefire.
American ambassador reached Israel
US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and US President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner have reached Israel with the intention of saving the ceasefire agreement in Gaza. The ceasefire agreement is under threat as Tel Aviv has threatened to stop the flow of aid to Gaza after the killing of two Israeli soldiers by Hamas. The US Embassy has said that both the envoys have reached Tel Aviv and the situation will be discussed.
Trump's statement is important
However, Israel later reinstated the ceasefire in Gaza and said that aid materials would be delivered again. Meanwhile, it is not clear whether the work of providing assistance has started or not. America has a big role in ending the 2-year-long war between Israel and Hamas. But, meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has given a big statement saying that Hamas has become 'very aggressive' and 'they are firing'.
