Why should gods be worshipped with flowers?
Flowers have a special place in our daily worship. Because, at the beginning of a flower, Brahma resides, in the middle, Vishnu, and at the end, Shiva. Similarly, the Puranas say that all the gods reside in its petals. The Supreme Being, who resides in flowers, is pleased if we worship only with flowers. That is why flowers are called the Trivarga Sadhana. It is believed that by using flowers for divine worship, wealth and salvation are attained.
