After this, a 5-match T20 series will be held. But it is almost certain that Jasprit Bumrah will be unavailable for the first three matches of this series. This means that the BCCI has decided to rest Bumrah during the ODI series against New Zealand as well. Thus, the Team India pacer will join the Indian team again during the T20 series. The 5-match T20 series between India and New Zealand will start from January 21. It has been learned that the Team India selection committee has decided to rest Jasprit Bumrah until then.
