The domestic ODI tournament Vijay Hazare Tournament has started. Team India's star players Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are among the key players in this tournament. However, Jasprit Bumrah is the only one who has not appeared. This means that Bumrah will definitely not be playing in the domestic tournament this time too. Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the Vijay Hazare Tournament. Gujarat Cricket Association Secretary Anil Patel said that he was not considered for selection as the BCCI has rested him. Hence, Bumrah is not appearing in the ongoing ODI tournament. When will Bumrah return to the field? Jasprit Bumrah, who was out of the ODI series against South Africa, made a comeback through the T20 series. Bumrah played three matches in the five-match T20 series. Now the Indian team is gearing up for the series against New Zealand. The series against New Zealand will start from January 11. In this series, three ODIs will be played first. After this, a 5-match T20 series will be held. But it is almost certain that Jasprit Bumrah will be unavailable for the first three matches of this series. This means that the BCCI has decided to rest Bumrah during the ODI series against New Zealand as well. Thus, the Team India pacer will join the Indian team again during the T20 series. The 5-match T20 series between India and New Zealand will start from January 21. It has been learned that the Team India selection committee has decided to rest Jasprit Bumrah until then. Why rest Bumrah? Jasprit Bumrah is the main pacer of Team India. He suffered a back problem during the last match of the last Border-Gavaskar Test series. He faced this problem due to playing long matches. For this reason, it has been decided to field Bumrah only in important series. Accordingly, the BCCI has decided to give Jasprit Bumrah more rest before the upcoming T20 World Cup, and hence the Team India pacer has been left out of the Vijay Hazare Tournament and the ODI series against New Zealand.
