12,542 vacancies in the Police Department!
Telangana: There are 12,542 vacant posts in various categories in the Police Department. The Police Department has recently submitted details to the Finance Department to this effect. It has been stated that the maximum number of posts is 8,442 in the Civil Constable category, 3,271 in AR Constable, 677 in the SI Civil category, 40 in AR, and 22 in the TGSP category. It is reported that the government is taking steps to include these in the job calendar.
