16,500 Deaths in Iran Protests?
It appears that a large number of deaths have been reported in the anti-government protests in Iran. International media reported, "Doctors say that so far 16,500-18,000 protesters have died. Up to 360,000 people have been injured. Most of the deceased are under 30 years of age." The report stated that a professor said the authorities were using military weapons and that the protesters had bullet wounds to their heads, necks, and chests.
