23,000 applications yesterday alone
Telangana: The Excise Department said that a record number of applications were received for liquor shops yesterday. It said that 23 thousand applications were received yesterday alone, and the total has crossed 50 thousand so far. It is estimated that another 50 thousand applications will be received as Saturday is the last day. It is known that applications are being received for 2,620 liquor shops in the state.
