Application deadline for liquor shops extended
Telangana: The Excise Department has extended the application deadline for new liquor shops until the 23rd of this month. Officials said that this decision was taken after complaints that banks were unable to apply in the wake of the BC bandh yesterday. With this, it was stated that the draw to be held on the 23rd of this month is being postponed to the 27th. Officials revealed that more than 30 thousand applications were received yesterday alone, and the total has crossed 80 thousand.
