A fine of ₹25 lakh for not doing a haircut properly
A mistake in a haircut cost a huge price. In 2018, a model went to the ITC Hotel salon in Mumbai for a haircut. She did not like the work done by the stylist. Due to this, she complained in the consumer forum that she was mentally depressed and lost modeling and interview opportunities. While the commission announced a compensation of ₹2 crore in 2021, the ITC went to the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court revised the verdict and ordered a payment of ₹25 lakh.
