A huge price for that cup of tea: Pak Deputy PM
Pakistan Deputy PM Ishaq Dar said that they are paying a huge price for a tea meeting with the Taliban. He criticized that after the Taliban came to power in 2021, former ISI chief Hamid visited the country and had tea with them and assured them that everything would be fine. He said that due to this, thousands of Taliban came into Pakistan along with traders when the Pakistan-Afghanistan borders opened. He alleged that militant groups in Pakistan have reactivated with them and are harassing them.
