Agarkar to Continue as Chief Selector for Another Year!
National media outlets have reported that the BCCI is set to extend the tenure of Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar. It is stated that his term will be extended until June 2027. Since Agarkar assumed the role of Chief Selector in 2023, the Indian team has won the 2024 and 2026 T20 World Cups, as well as the 2025 Champions Trophy. It is also worth noting that Agarkar has faced criticism, with some alleging that he was the reason behind Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Ashwin retiring from Test cricket.
