In that village, along with children, even the elderly go to school wearing shoulder bags. In the village of Phangane in Thane, Maharashtra, there is a school called ‘Ajibaichi Shala’. Here, elderly women are taught to read. Thus, the hands of grandmothers who were once far from letters are now touching the world of letters. In this school, which was born out of the desire of an elderly woman to read the holy scriptures, many people are now learning to read for two hours a day.
