Agro-Chemicals Business to Become a Separate Entity
Hyderabad: Natco Pharma is set to split into two distinct entities. The company's Board of Directors has approved the spin-off of its agro-chemicals division into a separate subsidiary, to be named Natco Crop Health Sciences Limited (NCHSL). The Board also approved the issuance of shares in the new company to every existing shareholder of Natco Pharma, at a ratio of 1:1. Natco Pharma announced that this demerger is scheduled to come into effect on October 1st of this year.
