Bangalore Film Festival 2026: Jan. 29-Feb. 6, across 3 locations
Every year, the International Film Festival is held in Bangalore. Various films are screened at this film festival. In addition, there is an opportunity to discuss many topics with Kannada technicians, artists, as well as foreign language artists and directors. Now the date for the 2026 Bangalore International Film Festival has been fixed. CM Siddaramaiah has given information about this.
The film festival will be held from January 29 to February 6. This film festival will last for nine days. Earlier, the film festival was held only at Orion Mall. However, this time, films will be screened at three places. Films will be screened at Lulu Mall, Dr. Rajkumar Bhavan in Chamarajpet and Suchitra Film Society in Banashankari.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah informed at the Vidhana Soudha that 110 films have been selected so far for the International Film Festival to be held in Bangalore.
Films from 60 countries will be screened at the film festival. There will be an opportunity to watch all the films at one place. It is special that a film that has been shortlisted for the Oscars will also be screened. This year, the theme of women's empowerment will be discussed.
