Budget recovery with OTT deals!
There are huge expectations on Rishab Shetty's self-directed film 'Kantara Chapter 1'. In this process, 'Amazon Prime Video' has acquired the OTT rights for a huge amount. It is said that it has acquired the streaming rights of all languages for a total of Rs. 125 crores. Similarly, it seems that Netflix has bought the streaming rights for ₹ 80 crores to capitalize on the craze of Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Akhanda-2'. This deal has reportedly brought in 80% of the budget.
