The past which was not destroyed, the present which became stronger - is this a curse for the Vaddera community?
Maddikera village in Pathikonda taluk of Kurnool district has once again become a witness to police brutality. The police which once killed people of the Vaddera community in the name of encounter, has now brutally beaten up a common citizen Vaddera Ramanna for seeking an RTI and driven him out of the village. The courage to file an RTI on June 23, 2025 became the reason for the massacre of Vaddera Ramanna. The lack of action against the SI even after 81 days shows that democracy is dead. People are raising their voice.
