Central Government Lawyers' Fees Increased
The Ministry of Law has increased the fees for lawyers representing the Central Government in courts across the country. Group A lawyers who attend regular appeals and present arguments until the final hearing will now receive Rs. 21,600 per case, up from Rs. 13,500. Group B and C lawyers will receive Rs. 14,400, up from Rs. 9,000. It is noteworthy that these fees have been increased after 11 years.
