Holiday cancelled on March 31: RBI
The RBI has issued orders canceling the bank holiday on March 31 (Mahavir Jayanti). Although it is a scheduled holiday, the RBI stated that work hours should continue on that day due to the end of the financial year. It stated that its intention is to ensure that transactions related to government receipts and payments are considered to have taken place within the 2025-26 financial year. It is best for customers to verify the branch for regular transactions.
