Chinese kite string slits throats; two dead
In separate incidents, Chinese kite string has claimed two lives. In Faswalwadi, Sangareddy district, Telangana, a migrant worker from Bihar died on the spot due to severe bleeding after the kite string wrapped around his throat while he was riding a bike. In a similar incident in Bidar district, Karnataka, a man named Sanju Kumar also died. Despite a ban on the use and sale of Chinese kite string, its continued sale is a cause for concern.
