CJI Issues Key Orders Amidst Delhi Protests
Delhi: The Congress party decided to hold a rally from the CEC office to the Supreme Court, led by senior leader Rahul Gandhi. Amidst the ongoing protests in Delhi, the Chief Justice of India (CJI) issued key directives regarding the movement of lawyers. Justice Surya Kant ordered that there should be no obstruction to the movement of lawyers, litigants, and court staff. The CJI issued clear instructions to the Delhi Police ensuring that court operations are not disrupted by protests or agitations.
