Clarity on the 'Varanasi' genre
Amidst the interesting discussion on the Varanasi movie genre, director Rajamouli has given clarity. He revealed in an interview that this movie is not science fiction. It is a mythological fantasy. He said that the runtime of the movie will be slightly less than 3 hours. He said that half of the shooting has already been completed. The rest will be completed by June 2026. He said that they will focus on post-production and VFX work later.
