CM Vijay Takes a U-Turn Regarding Astrologer Appointment
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay has backed down regarding the appointment of astrologer Radhan Pandit Vetrivel. He has revoked the orders issued recently to appoint him as his Officer on Special Duty (OSD). CM Vijay reversed his decision following criticism from both opposition parties and allies questioning the propriety of appointing an astrologer as an Officer on Special Duty. The Principal Secretary to the government issued orders formally cancelling the appointment orders previously issued to Vetrivel.
