Construction to Begin After Housing Allocation
Hyderabad: The government is set to implement a new policy for the 'Indiramma LIG (Low-Income Group) Housing Scheme' in Hyderabad. Instead of selecting beneficiaries after the houses are built, the government will select beneficiaries and allocate the houses to them first, before commencing construction. If the number of applications exceeds the planned number of houses, beneficiaries will be selected via a lottery system conducted in the presence of all applicants.
