Crackdown on Dharani irregularities; fast-track probe: Minister Ponguleti
Hyderabad: Revenue and Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy clarified that the government is focusing intensely on the land irregularities that occurred via the 'Dharani' portal during the previous administration's tenure. He stated that a fast-track inquiry would be conducted and strict action taken against those responsible. Speaking during an informal interaction with reporters, he warned that a comprehensive investigation would be held into every transaction—from the Dharani era to the current 'Bhu-Bharathi' phase—and asserted that no one, regardless of their stature, would be spared if found guilty of usurping the lands of the poor.
