Darshan of Lord Govinda on the Simha Vahanam
Tirumala: As part of the ongoing Salakatla Brahmotsavams at Tirumala, Lord Malayappa Swamy appeared before devotees on the *Simha Vahanam* (Lion Mount) on Thursday morning—the third day of the festival. Adorned with diamonds and precious gems and clad in golden-yellow silk robes, the Lord—manifesting as Yoga Narasimha—rode the *Simha Vahanam*, a symbol of power. He toured the Mada streets to bless the devotees. Majestic elephants led the procession, while groups of devotees performed *bhajans*, *kolatam* (stick dance), and other cultural programs. The Jeeyangars (pontiffs) chanted hymns in unison to praise the Lord.
