Degree colleges to be closed from 22nd of this month
Andhra Pradesh: The management of private degree colleges in the state has called for a bandh. They have given a strike notice to the government, saying that they will close the colleges from the 22nd of this month if the fee arrears are not paid. They said that they are facing difficulties in paying salaries to the employees and running the colleges due to the fee arrears for the past 16 months. Initially, two unions decided to go on a bandh, but one union postponed its decision in view of the Dussehra holidays.
