In a recent interview, Dimple Hayathi revealed that she is the granddaughter of director Dasari Narayana Rao. She revealed this during the promotions of her movie 'Bhartha Mahashayulaku Vijnapti', in which she starred alongside Ravi Teja. "Dasari Narayana Rao garu is a cousin of my grandfather. My grandmother Prab acted as the hero's mother in the movie 'Kick'. They asked me to play Ileana's sister. I was in fourth grade then, so my parents refused. They regretted it later," she said.
