In the Telugu states, the deadline for the discount currently being offered on property tax arrears within municipalities and corporations is just two days away. On the 17th of this month, the Andhra Pradesh government issued orders announcing a 50% concession on interest charges for those who clear their outstanding tax dues by March 31st. Meanwhile, in Telangana, the GHMC is offering a 90% interest waiver on property tax arrears within the Hyderabad limits. March 31st is the final deadline for this initiative as well.
