Efforts for Fishermen's Welfare: AFCF Chairman
Yatagiri Ramprasad, Chairman of the State Fishermen Cooperative Societies Federation (AFCF), held discussions with officials from the National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB) regarding the implementation of various welfare schemes for fishermen in Andhra Pradesh. On Thursday, the AFCF Chairman and directors met with NFDB CEO Bahera and other officials. Chairman Ramprasad inquired about the funds allocated as grants to fishermen in the state. He gathered details regarding special schemes for the aquaculture sector, insurance coverage, and deep-sea fishing boats.
