Efforts to remove votes should be repelled
Hyderabad: MLC and TJS President Professor Kodandaram has called on everyone to oppose attempts to remove the right to vote, saying that the right to vote gives identity and self-respect to every citizen. Speaking to the media at the TJS state office on Wednesday, he expressed his concern that removing crores of votes across the country in the name of the ‘Sir’ process is weakening democracy. He alleged that 21 votes out of every hundred votes are being removed in Telangana too.
