Ensure Uninterrupted Public Transport During Cyclone: Minister Janardhan Reddy
Amaravati: Heavy to very heavy rains are expected in Andhra Pradesh due to the impact of the cyclone. In light of this, AP Minister BC Janardhan Reddy alerted senior officials of the Roads and Buildings (R&B) Department. He ordered the establishment of special control rooms at district headquarters for continuous monitoring. He also directed that JCBs and rescue teams be kept ready to clear trees and electric poles that might fall onto roads due to gusty winds. Minister Janardhan Reddy spoke with officials at the Secretariat today (Wednesday).
