Recent research has revealed that excessive smartphone usage can lead to not only vision-related issues but also 'eating disorders.' This risk is particularly high among young people who spend more than seven hours a day using their phones. It has been revealed that comparing oneself to the "ideal body shapes" seen online leads to mental stress, resulting in issues such as uncontrolled overeating or, conversely, abstaining from food entirely.
