Expanded services... insufficient staff
The reconstruction of the Yadagirigutta Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple has led to an increase in the influx of devotees and a rise in revenue. Services such as *darshan*, *prasadam* distribution, *annadanam* (free meal service), security, protocol management, sanitation, *Kalyana Katta* (tonsuring), the *Pushkarini* (temple tank), and drinking water supply have all expanded. All this is well and good, but the number of officials and staff has not increased in proportion to the rising influx of devotees. Moreover, vacancies are growing due to annual retirements, and the number of regular employees is dwindling day by day.
