Fatal accident… 8 devotees killed
Eight devotees died after a pickup van fell into a valley at Chandshali Ghat in Maharashtra. The van of devotees returning from the Ishtadaiwam Astamba Devi Yatra lost control at a bend in the Ghat road and plunged into the valley. The van overturned and the devotees fell under the vehicle. Eight people died on the spot and eight others were seriously injured. The driver is said to have lost control while driving at high speed.
