Fertility Issues Linked to Vaginal Infections
In women, changes in the color of vaginal discharge—or symptoms such as vaginal dryness accompanied by burning sensations, itching, or spotting—are indications of a vaginal infection. However, certain infections can lead to blockages in the fallopian tubes. Consequently, the embryo is unable to travel into the uterus; this condition is known as an ectopic pregnancy. If left undiagnosed, this can result in the rupture of the fallopian tubes, posing a life-threatening risk. Therefore, if any signs of infection appear, one should consult a doctor immediately.
