Fire accident at a hotel; 9 dead
Kolkata: A massive fire broke out early Wednesday morning in a five-story building on Mirza Ghalib Street in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal. Nine people, including a four-year-old child and two women, lost their lives in the tragedy, while six others sustained severe injuries. Preliminary reports indicate that some of the deceased were Bangladeshi nationals. Upon receiving the information, disaster management teams rushed to the scene and undertook rescue operations. Officials safely evacuated approximately 80 people.
