Former CEO Donates 13,000 Crore After Selling Company Shares
A former CEO of a company sold his stake in the company for Rs 14,000 crore and donated Rs 13,000 crore. Brian Kelly, co-founder and former CEO of advertising technology company AppNexus, achieved this feat. Brian had a 10% stake in AppNexus. In 2018, he sold it to AT&T. This gave him Rs 14,000 crore ($1.6 billion). Of this, he kept about Rs 900 crore ($100 million) for his family and donated the remaining Rs 13,000 crore.
