Foundation stone laying ceremony for Nakkapalli Steel Plant on 23rd
Andhra Pradesh: The date has been set for the foundation stone laying ceremony of the integrated green field steel plant in Anakapalli (D) Nakkapalli. Union Minister Srinivasa Varma announced that the ground breaking ceremony will be held on the 23rd of this month under the auspices of ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel. While the construction of the plant is expected to cost Rs. 1.5 lakh crore, the work will start in the first phase with Rs. 80 thousand crore. The goal is to complete the first phase by 2029.
