Four cricketers suspended
The Assam Cricket Association (ACA) has suspended cricketers Amit, Ahmed, Aman, and Abhishek on charges of corruption in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. A complaint was then filed with the Crime Branch police, and an FIR was registered. They have been ordered not to participate in any cricket activities until the investigation is complete. They are accused of influencing players and instigating corruption in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. On the other hand, the Assam team did not reach the Super League stage of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
