Four people injured, treatment continues in ambulance and hospital
London: At least two people were killed and four others injured in a sensational stabbing and car attack near a synagogue in Crumpsall, UK, on Wednesday. Police say the attack was carried out by an unknown person, using a car and a knife. According to the New York Times, Greater Manchester Police said a suspect was shot dead. The attack took place outside a synagogue. Police are investigating the matter.

Police received a call from a member of staff at Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue, Middleton Road, Crumpsall, at 9:31 a.m. The caller reported seeing a car approaching people in a public area and reported a man being stabbed. Greater Manchester Police (GMP) reported a major incident at 9:37 a.m. Armed officers opened fire at 9:38 a.m., striking one person, who is believed to be a suspect.
Injured undergoing treatment
Ambulance crews arrived at the scene at 9:41 a.m. and transported them to hospital. Members of the public are receiving treatment. Four people are currently injured, suffering from vehicle and knife injuries. Everyone is urged to avoid the area. Police are dealing with the incident.
