Hand Over Saikrishna Case to CBI
Amaravati: A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) was filed in the High Court on Monday, seeking to hand over the investigation into the death of rowdy-sheeter Gade Saikrishna—a case registered at the Krishnalanka police station—to the CBI. Dadisetti Veerababu, Joint Secretary of the Society for Protection of Civil Property and Environmental Rights (SPCPER) based in Yeleswaram, Kakinada district, filed this Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in the High Court. He sought orders to ensure the preservation of evidence.
