Indian star Quincy D'Souza, who impressed with her brilliant performance in Teqball—a sport introduced at the Asian Games for the first time—ultimately returned without a medal. She fell short in the bronze medal matches for both singles and mixed doubles. In the singles event, Quincy lost 11-12, 11-12 to Sakamoto (Japan). In the mixed doubles, the pair of Quincy and Mohammed Anas lost 9-12, 6-12 to the Vietnamese duo.
